This is a beautiful home in a peaceful community by Kayuta Lake. We stayed here for a few days to enjoy some hiking in the area and some R&R. It was also the perfect spot for our group to view the solar eclipse! There was a minor maintenance issue with the washer/dryer that Mike let us know about prior to our stay, but fortunately it did not impact us, and Mike was ready and willing to fix it if needed. Otherwise the place was the perfect spot for our getaway.

Our stay in this beautiful house was nothing short of amazing! it was peaceful, beautiful, and felt right at home. Mike was a great host with outstanding friendliness and always offered to help with anything we needed at any given time. I would absolutely recommend a stay here!

Nice place, quiet and scenic. Had a small maintenance issue and mike was there n minutes. It was clean and had plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 kids. A bit out of the way from some amenities, but still would recommend for larger groups that want a nice getaway

The house is surrounded by tall evergreen trees which lends a feeling of quiet and peacefulness. The road to the house is a side road so very few vehicles pass by. The house is large with three floors -- bedrooms on each floor. Lovely beds. Wonderful screened in porch and an outdoor deck. There is a small beach .3 of a mile from the house which we visited. The beach is easy to walk to and is a clean lake. Mike was a very good host. He promptly responded to my texts and when I met him he was friendly and accommodating.

The home was big enough for our family. The area was beautiful. However there was visible cat/dog hair on the stairs going to the bedrooms and also in the basement. I get pets are welcome but the hair should be cleaned a little better. There was dust clumps in the downstairs bedroom by the closet. On arrival the beds weren’t made. The sheets were down in the laundry area. There was barely no toilet paper on the rolls that were in both bathrooms. We didn’t bring any as it was listed as being provided. We had to buy our own. The freezer was dirty and expired stuff in the fridge some expired in 2021. The downstairs bathroom had an area to the side of the toilet that had stuff on the floor, the toilet brush holder had dried toilet paper on it. Dishwasher had dishes in it not sure if clean/dirty, we did our own but the scrubbing brush/soap container had chunks inside it. We paid for a cleaning fee when booking, I expected a little more for our arrival. I have pics.
