Great place to stay!

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 teens) stayed at Vaughn Summit Hideaway for only two nights. It was spotless, quiet, spacious, and perfect as a home base for our adventures on Skyline Drive. The fire pit and hot tub were exactly as described. The beds were comfortable. We were only minutes from Luray Caverns and the entrance to Skyline. We truly would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed!

So grateful to have had such a lovely stay with my family! The home was immaculate, definitely the cleanest stay I've ever had! Carolyn is a very thoughtful host who provided more than we could have ever needed, all the thoughtful touches were very much appreciated! We are very hopeful to return sometime to relax in the wilderness again! Thanks for hosting us Carolyn!

Very considerate host, clean comfortable stay in a nicely appointed fab-home, nice boardwalk and hottub/firepit, inside had what you needed, didn't knickel and dime you by charging extra and separate for wood, water, etc. Very nice and relaxing stay, and nice finds for a drink and desert at the bar at Watch and Warrant in Luray, easy drive to Skyline Drive and lookouts, brunch at Brookside cafe' near Vaughn Hideout, and just riding through the countryside, or hanging out at the hideout, all was very relaxing. A nice getaway.

Carolyn’s place was better than the photos. Clean and comfortable, well appointed with everything we wanted for a weekend away to do some hiking, hot tubing, and relaxing around the fire pit. The train as mentioned by others didn’t bother us at all. The abundance of air fresheners was overwhelming upon arriving as it irritated allergy sensitivities. Once we closed those it was fine. Carolyn was a great host recommending restaurants and the jelly and honey gift was a nice welcoming touch. I would definitely recommend Carolyn’s place!
