What a great cabin! Pretty much equidistant to Galena or Dubuque if you want to venture out a bit. Super cozy and gorgeous design with the wooden spiral staircase. The basement stood cooler than the upstairs, so we split our group accordingly. My only feedback is that a clothing rack or someplace to hang or store clothes in the upstairs loft would be nice. Would totally stay here again!

I booked this for a birthday weekend getaway for my wife. This place is an absolute gem! It is just as beautiful inside as it is outside. The pictures were spot on. They have added a hammock to the lower-level deck. Bonus points. It's so peaceful sitting out on the deck and time of day didn't matter. Getting touch with the Host's was never an issue and quick to respond. If you're looking for a place near Galena, this is it!
