Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish woodland space. Just 7 miles off 1-16 on the Oconee River. Dublin is 15 min. away. Carl Vinson VA Hospital and Fairview Park Hospital 20 min. away. Southern Pines 12 min. Extra large bedroom with queen bed and loft. Can accommodate at least 4 people. Full kitchen with bar. Amenities include internet, cable, VCR. Air and heat. All linens, dishes, and cookware provided. Apartment located above separate garage. Community boat ramp available. The guesthouse is built in cottage style with a mixture of traditional and contemporary furnishings and decor. It has a large bedroom, foyer, bathroom with shower, great room, and small deck overlooking the forest/river. All cathedral/beamed ceilings except in the bathroom. Private parking and a private patio with fire pit and fire pit grill (wood or charcoal) were recently added.

This place was the best Airbnb that I’ve stayed at! Let me start by saying that Mr. David’s Guesthouse was so peaceful and beautiful! Long driveway thru the woods to the perfect destination! I could live there! I cannot wait to return in the near future.

Quiet wooded residential area on the Oconee river. All underground utilities which enhances the woodland ambiance of the community.
All transportation on your own. Plenty of natural areas for walking and observing wildlife such as deer, turkey, raccoons, possums. Paved streets for running or walking.

I am a retired teacher and school administrator. My wife, Carole Ann, is a retired teacher and librarian. We built our river home about 12 years ago, and retired to it about six years ago. When not hosting, I spend my time in my garden and wood shop. Most of the Airbnb guesthouse was constructed by me, including much of the furniture.
