Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce magnifique endroit, en pleine nature, dans un village perché en hauteur avec une vue magnifique et loin du flot de tourisme de la vallée. Le rustico est très accueillant et chaleureux, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien et cuisiner. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse ainsi que la cheminée. Norbert a été très réactif et nous a transmis des instructions très claires pour trouver la maison. Ce lieu complètement hors du temps nous a beaucoup plu.

Norbert's house is cozy and well equipped. We felt right at home and the Stonehouse is just stunning. Great views from the balconies and we also enjoyed making fires in rainy days. The host was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

Norbert describes the home as "a place of silence and magical nature", and we completely agree. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt the warmth of family and history. The space is full of nooks and crannies, all designed for maximum comfort. Four outdoor terraces, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen, and a living room where we spent much of our time playing games and stoking the fire after enjoying hikes in the mountains. There was a huge stack of wood just outside to keep the flames alive and a hammock in which to enjoy the fantastic sunsets. The church bell was the only thing to remind us of time passing. Mergoscia is a special place--a terraced village made of stone, surrounded by mountains, sitting above the Lago di Vogorno canyon, with snow-covered alps in the distance and palm trees in the foreground. It has a quiet, but familial feeling. And Locarno is just under 20 minutes away. The perfect combination of remoteness and community. Highly recommended!

Wir waren sehr gespannt, wie dieses Haus sein wird, wenn wir vor Ort sind. Und wir waren überwältigt. Ein Haus mit ganz besonderer Aura. Toll gelegen und eingebettet in ein sehr altes schweizer Dorf mit Geschichte. Man hat vom Haus aus einen einzigartigen Blick auf die Berge und das Tal. Jeden Morgen erwartete uns ein anderes Naturschauspiel. Einfach großartig. Das Rustico ist absolut ruhig gelegen. Im Haus fehlt es den Gästen an nichts. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ideal um Ruhe vom Alltag zu finden, aber auch zentral gelegen, um Ausflüge sowohl in die Natur als auch in nahegelegene Orte zu unternehmen. Der Lago Maggiore ist nicht weit. Unser Gastgeber Norbert war bei Fragen immer erreichbar und ausgesprochen nett. Wir sind dankbar, diesen Ort kennenlernen zu dürfen und wollen auf jeden Fall zurückkehren, um ein weiteres Gesicht des Hauses und der Umgebung zu einer anderen Jahreszeit zu sehen. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert.
