Mikes place was very comfortable. Extremely spacious. Very clean and nicely decorated newer construction.
Great home in great location! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the uptown Charlotte area.
This place is gorgeous, brand new and in a perfect location. Having a driveway available was very convenient. Check-in was seamless and Mike / team were extremely communicative. We were traveling with our toddler and love that we had the option to pay to check in earlier, so we could accommodate nap time. All rooms have black out shades and comfortable beds. The only drawback — and this was huge for us, is that there was no W/D. When you have a Sub Zero fridge and Wolf range, you’d think you’d have access to a W/D? This proved to be very inconvenient for a longer stay with a toddler.
Tree-lined streets run through the neighborhood of Dilworth, a quaint, historic, walkable area with a laid-back, global restaurant scene located near BREWERIES (e.g., HopFly with a view of uptown/Bank of America stadium); RESTAURANTS (e.g., Copper [Indian], Thai Taste, 300 East [American], Capishe [casual Italian]; SPORTS/ENTERTAINMENT VENUES (e.g., Bank of America stadium [Panthers NFL, Charlotte FC MLS, concerts, etc], Truist Field [Charlotte Knights AAA baseball], Spectrum Center [Charlotte Hornets NBA], NASCAR Hall of Fame; and UPTOWN CHARLOTTE (dining, museums, public art, business center of Charlotte). Adjacent neighborhoods include Southend with light rail access. Kenilworth Commons and Park Square retail plazas have grocery stores and specialty food and clothes shops, while interior design stores and boutiques dot the area. Latta Park, near by, has playground facilities and walking trails. Freedom Park is popular for its lake and walking trails, and the Discovery Place Nature museum nearby is home to animals and a planetarium.
The best way to get around would be by car or public transportation. The area has a good public transportation system with several bus stops within walking distance, and the nearest light rail station is just a few blocks away. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also readily available in the area. If you plan to explore the city or visit nearby attractions, renting a car would be a convenient option. The area also has bike lanes and sidewalks for those who prefer to walk or bike.
