Bumblebee Cottage is part of a suite of cottages at Gites Rue Du Chateau. It has direct access to its own covered terrace overlooking the spacious gardens and woodland and includes a stream running through an ancient lavoir, pool, a boules area, BBQ, an outside kitchen with dining terrace and cosy fire pit area. Plenty of space for garden games. Surprisingly peaceful but within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, shops and market. Local activities include the Rejallant Canoeing Centre. Situated in the grounds of what was once part of the old Chateau estate, our cottages offer a little haven of tranquillity; a place where you will be able to relax and feel at one with nature and at the same time, have fun and make those precious memories. Bumblebee Cottage sleeps up to 3 people, and is part of a suite of four terraced cottages at Gites Rue Du Chateau. The cottages can either be rented individually, with no more than two rented at any one time, or as a whole site booking of up to four cottages with exclusive use of the site facilities. Bumblebee cottage has a private entrance. With open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. Downstairs WC. Upstairs has a double bedroom and a single bedroom. Both rooms have views across the grounds. You will also find the main shower room upstairs, with sink and toilet. All properties have access to an onsite washing machine. Bumblebee Cottage has direct access to an outside terrace area, with a dining table and chairs, overlooking the shared gardens, with woodland view. During your stay, you will also have access to the two and a half acres of garden and woodland. It includes a beautiful clear stream, running through an ancient Lavoir and small woodland area. We have a lovely above ground pool, 5m diameter, 1.2m deep, installed in 2023, and renovation works are continuing on our shallow inground pool, which may be ready for summer 2024 but at this moment cannot be guaranteed. You will also have access to a boules area, BBQ, hammocks, an outside kitchen with inside and outside dining space and cosy fire pit area. There is plenty of space for relaxation and outdoor garden games. The site is gated with secure parking. Every day you could wake up to the sound of birdsong, a running stream and hear the local church bells in the distance.
