The place was well-stocked in the kitchen which was important for us. The beds were super comfortable. Plenty of hot water when needed. Great sunroom and deck with lovely hot tub. I wish we would have had more time to just relax but when you come for a Liberty graduation, relaxing is not on the agenda. I booked this place because of the kitchen and entertaining areas. We didn’t want to fight long waits at restaurants during graduation so we pretty much cooked every meal and baked cakes, cookies and played a ton of cribbage. It was nice to have a blender, mixer & BBQ grill. Might have been handy to have a crock pot but I borrowed my kid’s who still live in Forest. Everything was great. We’ll look to see if this is open for next year’s graduation. The hosts were super responsive and I would highly recommend this location if you want a place away from the hustle and bustle of graduation. It was only about 15 minutes to Liberty Campus and 8 min from my kids’ apartment.

We stayed here for the wedding of a friend and it was wonderful! We enjoyed the hot tube especially and it was a great place to bring our dog!

A wonderful Lynchburg/Forest stay. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very quick to respond to messages which was a plus. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space!

I can’t say enough good things about Lisa’s place. It was perfect for our crew of 9. The backyard with fire pit, grill, hot tub and huge yard were perfect for us. I highly recommend!

Oak Grove Retreat was an absolute pleasure to spend our days at!!! Very easy check in and access. Lisa was super responsive and ready to assist with anything we needed. Hot tub was awesome!!! Very private, and wonderful completely fenced in back yard with a picnic table, fire-pit out, etc back there... our small dog had a blast and felt right at home. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. We loved it!!! Will definitely stay again on our next family trip to Lynchburg.
