Bulkley-Nechako E · 整套小木屋 · 1室1床0.0卫 · 可住2人 · 4x4 Off Road Off Grid Historic Cabin
This tranquil secluded getaway is a rare rugged and authentic historic hunting cabin. The solitary cabin is set apart, securely backwoods from the main ranch lakefront bay property nestled peacefully in forested mountains. Wake up refreshed and enjoy a saskatoon berry breakfast. You will love seeing bears, moose, deer, and foxes wander by the cabin that is located on a natural corridor leading down to a private boathouse, with boats and sandy beach for fishing lake trout, rainbow, and cod. As an introduction to Airbnb business, Donna has restored this lovely cabin in an Artist in Residence project 2023 for Timber Ranch. This one-room cabin made of timber two elevations above the lake and one elevation above the main residence will accumulate unique art and amenities throughout the year-long project. Behind the cabin is a forest that goes up the mountain into crown land wilderness. The cabin is on an entrance road suitable for a 4x4 vehicle with good traction tires. Adjacent to the cabin is an open hayfield suitable for other vehicles, camping and horses. You will love seeing a canopy of stars unmarred by the presence of electric lights. The cabin's picture window overlooks a gulley where deer will often be seen. The amazing full-size woodburning stove that keeps the cabin toasty warm is able to cook a full meal on stovetop and in the oven. Furnishing includes a dinner table and chairs, cozy rockingchair by the fire and a double futon folding bed with a new foam mattress. There is a clothing dresser, shelves and a mirrored hutch with some cookware, dishes and utensils.
We present an unique neighborhood with resident scientist inventor and lovely artists, expressly great cooking, fine art and music for social times. The ranch has 4 residents, all independently occupied in our various arts. The main yard is eccentric with amazing inventions and projects, murals, cool furniture art and especially the huge hand-made timber structures drawn from the surrounding lush forest. Its your choice to visit or be secluded, we keep ourselves busy but guests are welcome. The boathouse has a canoe if you want to go out on the lake, swim or enjoy the private beach. There is a moderate hike to the mountain ridge for scenic view over the lake. Its a touristy area, you can meet people at the public campgrounds.
The paved road to the ranch winds along a lakefront of rare beauty. Your cabin is off-road 1/4 km. You will need a 4x4 and good driving skills. In the winter you will need approved mountain winter tires. in case of deep snow the cabin is ski-in ski-out or bring a snowmobile. Otherwise, you will need snowshoes if you have to park in the main yard. The hike is easy for average level of fitness walking.
