This home is on a 5 acre farm on a dead end paved road. Just 5 miles from Kootenai Health. Close to stores, restaurants, health and exercise centers, theaters, bike paths, Silverwood Theme Park, and zip lining above Lake Coeur d'Alene. There are security cameras outside @ ext. doors. We are offering nightly & monthly rates. This is a quiet home. No children allowed. If you are a smoker, please choose other accommodations. One of our grandchildren is extremely allergic to 2nd hand smoke residue. This space is very unique. There are a couple of mounted geese, and a collection of duck decoys on the wall. There is also a collection of old fishing lures on an antique fishing rod. It is very relaxing and very country themed. It has its own seating area like a little living room right there in your own private space. You have your own personal small refrigerator and your own personal microwave, as well as the shared use of the full kitchen and office and living and dining area.

I think this place stands out for value with very reasonable rates, and so close to Couer d'Alene that I saved a bundle by staying here. I'd really rate it 6 stars out of 5 for value! Jim and Linda were very kind and welcoming, doing everything they could to ensure a good stay. Jim opened the fence so I could unload my car closer to the separate entrance of this room, which made things soooo much easier for me as someone traveling with all my worldly belongings. They even invited me over for lunch! Some internet issues made my work Zoom calls shaky--the signal from the room just wasn't strong enough to guarantee uninterrupted signal, and I was teaching a class and coaching clients such that it was essential for me to have a steady connection. Jim acted immediately to test the issue and ultimately gave me access to another room where the signal was stronger. These hosts are so caring about making your stay great. This room is very spacious and having your own heater makes it cozy!
jim and linda were a most gracious host, place was always kept clean, everything was as advertised.
If I could clone this place and have one to stay at everywhere I travel, I would! The shared bathroom by the goose room was essentially my own bathroom (at the other end of the house from the other bedrooms), the bed was comfortable, I had control over the AC and heat in my little suite, Jim and Linda were super friendly and helpful, even the refrigerator was labeled with spaces for my food. Great sunset views , a little porch with comfortable seating to chat with other guests, and a very convenient and stress-free drive to downtown or the fairgrounds. I had a wonderful stay and hope to return next year!
Feels like home. Everything I needed was here. Goose room has a mini fridge, dinner table, prep area for groceries, and set up in a way that it is a bedroom , living room , and kitchenette all at once. Pretty self sufficient. I felt like I had my own studio apartment in the house. Indoor ac unit was great to have for a couple of hot days. Owners are very responsive, communicative, and friendly. Must have a car to get around. Quite and peaceful nights. I had a pleasant stay here.

Only 13 min to Kootenai Health & Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene. 15 min from N.W. Spec. Hosp. Close to department stores, restaurants, coffee shacks, health and exercise centers, theaters, ski resorts, bike paths, Silverwood Theme Park, and zip lining above beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene The Spokane Int. The airport is 45 minutes away.
There is a private, big area for parking. City bus is only 2 blocks away at end of Cranston Ave.
