La casa si trova in un bellissimo borgo in posizione perfetta per raggiungere a piedi il centro storico. La cittadina è un’ottima base per visitare le altre città dei dintorni. Nel periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato (Pasqua) il quartiere è stato tranquillo e silenzioso. Unica avvertenza è che l’appartamento è su due piani. Ordine e pulizia impeccabili. Cucina ben attrezzata. Maria Ilia e’ stata molto gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione.

Overall, Maria Ilia's apartment met our needs. It is an excellent location- right on Garibaldi Square and extremely close to PAID parking. The beds were ocmfortable, the apartment had two mini splits and one fan which kept the aprtment cool even in the excessive heat! Maria was quick to respond to our questions. We were sorry that we didn't meet her. Her nephew met us and checked us in and tried to be helpful. There were three concerns for us. On arrival, our internet did not work. It took several calls and finally, after I explained that I need to work via ZOOM that evening and that we could not stay in the apartment if there were no connection, we finallt had a visit from someone who finally was able to fix it. It was fixed within two hours of o ur arrival. 2. The listing states that there is free parking available on the premises. In fact there is no parking on the premises. 3. The pans for cooking were not clean. They had to be washed in order to prepare a meal.

Maria was GREAT. She was very responsive to questions and gave many great suggestions on things to do in the area. Bevagna is a beautiful village and the restaurants are wonderful. The apartment is easy to find and parking is very convenient. Make this part of your trip to Italy.

The home was a short walk from a pay parking lot. It was well situated near restaurants and shops. The WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived. Maria explained it was due to a storm. The next day it was running. The air conditioning hadn’t been turned on for the season when we arrived and didn’t think to ask about when checking in. The rooms were stuffy the first night. We didn’t want to open the windows due to the mosquitoes and outdoor noise. Her husband got it running the next day. For the price, it was a nice home in a good location.

What a gem! The perfect place to visit Umbria. The apartment is as described and was so lovely to come home to after a day of touring. Being inside the city walls was like being a temporary resident. The town itself became our favorite in Umbria yet we were thrilled to visit Spoleto, Assisi, Todi, and the other charming hill towns. Two gals traveling together and having two bedroom and two bathrooms was such a wonderful treat. Maria is the most attentive host I have ever had. She always wanted to know if we were OK and to please reach out for anything we needed. She showed us a couple blocks away for free parking. (also grateful for that). We loved this village as we saw only Italian tourist, tons of kids live here and we hung out at a combo ice cream (gelato) bar shop with outside seating to watch all the locals gather there. It was a hopping place. Lots of families. A decent grocery store outside the walls. If I could give this a 10 I would. I highly recommend.
