Pokljuka is a forested high karst plateau on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park.
Pokljuka is a high karst plateau on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park, lying between 1200 and 1500 m above sea level. It is covered by a vast spruce forest and it is also known for its mountain pastures Javornik, Lipanca, Uskovnica, Zajamniki.

Both lakes (Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj) are only 20 minutes driving from this beautiful plateau in Julian Alps.
In winter, Pokljuka is covered by a thick blanket of snow, but the access roads from the direction of Bled and Bohinj are easily accessible. Family Ski lifts, only 200 metres form Vila Triglav, complete the offer of well-maintained cross-country trails. In winter, Pokljuka hosts international biathlon competitions (including the World Cup).

This is why we want public bus transport to help reduce air pollution in the sensitive Alpine environment, protect vegetation, reduce noise and avoid the problems of heavy traffic and parking.
Public transport gives us more time to observe nature without having to return to the same starting point.
