Nikau cottage situated 5 minutes from Titirangi in a peaceful native bush setting. You’ll have Kereru and Tui to keep you company. The cottage has a kitchenette, bathroom and sleeps up to 4 people in an open plan space . Kitchenette has small bench oven and an induction element . You’ll stay warm and toasty with an electric panel heater controlled by Wi-Fi. Free ultra fast broadband supplied. Great for couples or small families. You have your own private entrance past the main house. The cottage is open plan with a wall sectioning the bedroom and living areas . It has a wraparound deck , and a brick patio space, which is only used by guests when you are visiting . The cottage is set in a rainforest and is surrounded by native bush .

Jane was a very responsive and friendly host. The set up is as described and a very reasonable price point. A great space for some peace and quiet!
Beautiful place amongst the native trees and courtyard. Recieved a warm welcome, and was also very private for the duration of my stay. Great coffee shop up the road. A bit of traffic noise in rush hours but overall very lovely and a very tidy, roomy space.
great down to earth peaceful place in the bush which we just love. will definitely be back if we have to stay in Auckland again.

Woodlands Park is a beautiful and peaceful spot with many bush and beach walks within a 5-10 minute drive . There is also a wonderful shop which stocks almost everything you need, with Woodlands Parker Burgers providing good burgers and fries. Bill the barista runs a small takeaway coffee service selling wonderful kokako coffee with all the different mills you require.
There is a bus service that runs to New Lynn but mostly it’s easiest to drive . Cycling also possible but we live in the foothills of the Waitakere ranges so it can be quite steep.
