We had the most amazing time at Sable Mae!! Great location, between Katoomba and blackheath to explore the Blue Mountains. And perfect place to relax in the garden after a days hiking. We will definitely be back!!

Lisa went above & beyond to make our stay very comfortable. She responded within minutes to queries. The house was spotless and has been furnished with every possible thing you could need & with great flair. The garden has been landscaped beautifully & allows for the birds to join you as you drink your tea in the morning or sip your wine at night. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a central base in the Blue Mountains away from the hubbub of Katoomba - yet minutes away by car or train. Medlow Bath has no shops - so it’s necessary to stock up in adjoining towns before arriving. The train stops off at every town that the road takes- so super easy. 2 hours from Sydney and you’re amongst some incredible walks, views & history.

The home designed by Lisa is lovely, and the interior is very functional and tastefully arranged. It looks even better in person than it does in the listing pictures. My children are big fans of parrots and enjoy feeding the ones that come to the yard. Some of the parrots are even friendly enough to be hand-fed. Additionally, there are many big Cockatoos in the neighborhood, and their calls are exciting to us as residents of Japan. The highlight of our trip to Australia was dinner at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, just a short drive away. The desserts, in particular, were very sophisticated and memorable. Despite the foggy, rainy, and chilly weather during our stay, we truly enjoyed our time, thanks to Lisa's excellent listing.

A lovely place. The pictures don’t even do it justice. All amenities there, and Lisa was very easy to work with.
