This place was awesome! Away from the hustle and bustle of Pana, but close enough to drive to town to shop, catch a boat, or grab a bite to eat. Dexter and Daniel met us at the home. Showed us what we needed to know, and gave perfect recommendations on places and restaurants to visit. As other reviewers have noted, the walk down to the lake was extremely steep, but we were warned of that upon arrival. We enjoyed walking down and taking a swim. We could have sat on that back balcony and stared at the lake forever. Everything was beautiful.

This place was amazing. Spotless when we walked in and as listed, if not better. Communication with Daniel for check in was clear and easy to follow. The location was great for a quiet night in and cool breeze coming through the windows. The view was stunning. The house is located between the main city of Santa Catarina and Panajachel, please note that it’s not that easy to grab a tuk tuk FROM the house, but the ones from either town are open to negotiate a decent price to get you back to the stunning Airbnb. Daniel also arranged our transportation from the place to Antigua, very appreciative! Thank you for allowing to stay in the house, made great memories with our senior parents.

Beautiful and pleasant place to stay, exactly as described on the offer. My only 2 concerns would be: It should be indicated that the access to the lake is not so easy, with a very sharp slope not easy to go down or up. In our case we were only advised once in the house. Once at the place in front of the lake, it is beautiful but can't really be called a beach, in case you are with kids. The other point would be the entrance of the garage, not always practical as close to a curve. Despite these concerns I believe visitors should be aware before to avoid inconveniences, our stay was very pleasant. We always get great communication with Mike or Daniel, and the house offers a beautiful surrounding to have a nice rest with lovely views of the lake and volcans.
