Chris was very responsive and acted quickly when there was a request at the house. He explained the rules of the lake house and what we were allowed to access. We were staying in the area for business, so we didn’t have a lot of free time, but we enjoyed the lake view. I was able to get out a few times on the kayak which was a highlight of the trip.

Host - Christopher was an attentive host and responsive to queries and communicated updates well. Cottage was well maintained and peaceful. Would recommend getting a filter for water or providing alternative water source as water had sulphur odour and taste.

Unprofessional host. Insisted on meeting at the property (fine) though there is a key pad. Arrived late, barely explained the house, and stayed for over an hour making small talk. To the point of being intrusive. Complained about how disrespectful Airbnb guests are. Very unwelcoming. He also showed up another day unannounced. Tried to walk into the house when I answered the door. I was there alone and made to feel unsafe. Property NOT as advertised. Despite a picture of a dock there is NO dock. Told we could use a tiny piece of someone else’s dock, but found there was a sign “Airbnb guests NO TRESPASSING.” We were not able to enjoy the water. Deck rotting, peeling, screws protruding, and a wasp’s nest that made enjoying the deck nearly impossible. No outdoor eating space. BRING WATER - none is provided and the water is not suitable for drinking Poorly stocked. No extra toilet paper/paper towel. No cookie sheet. No salad bowl or pitcher. Ancient vacuum Cute place. Host sucks.

Christopher greeted us at the cottage, and took time to explain all the features that it possessed. This got us off to a good start. He both cared about the creation of guest lodgings and the people who chose to stay there.

Chris has a wonderful spot on Puslinch Lake. Convenient to whatever you need and it feels like you are in the wilderness, when in reality you are just 5 minutes south of the 401 corridor! It is a hidden gem for sure!
