One word to describe this place, peaceful. The property was beautiful and big for my kids to play. They had livestock on both sides and we loved feeding them apples and carrots. They were very tamed. The cottage is an authentic farm house built in the 1940's but Mr Mike upgraded it nicely. My family loved that cottage feeling and it felt great to unplug. This is a place to get away and not be bothered. I got a chance to meet Mr Mike as he comes by to feed the livestock. Mr Mike was friendly and we talked for a good bit and he loved that my kids were having a great time. I hope to come back again.

Pros: -The host was excellent and communicated well -Check in was simple -Beds were super comfortable and we slept well -Kitchen was set up well and had everything we needed Cons: -The house has a few issues common to older houses, like uneven floors -We had a little trouble with the drains venting, but we notified the host and I believe that’s been fixed

The hoss was extremely helpful. They provided great information as soon as we booked the reservation. Contacted us again on checking day and again the next morning to be sure everything was fine. The interior was extremely clean. The house was comfortable to use. It was a very pleasant place to stay. The yard area around the house could use a little work. I few things we would recommend would be: a hairdryer, a small fan or white noise machine for the main bedroom due to road noise, and maybe a few larger coffee cups. With that said I believe we will stay there again

Clean country place. We needed a place to relax and it was conducive for that. Everything was clean and the gate gave the feeling of privacy. It was what we were looking for. Things to note: filters are used on pics for a reason... Road noise would be bothersome to light sleepers, the gate could be troublesome for someone not able to lift and move objects. Nice people
