Great for a family get away!!

Cabin is cozy and well situated on a very cool smallish river that has access to a larger lake using the canoes/kayaks. We had a great time exploring both. Pretty remote (a plus), but expect to hear some vehicle noise as house is closer to the road than not but there's not a lot of traffic. Lots of hiking, rivers and lakes nearby. We did a lot of cooking and there was mostly everything you would need but you'll want to bring along some foil or plastic wrap and a good knife or two if you're going to do some cooking/prepping. Great yard and fire pit. Bring bug spray. Hosts are great about dogs and are very responsive/communicative. Overall a pleasant, chill time up north. Thanks.

Heather and Chris were great hosts, they were very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The house was perfect for our group of friends with kids. We would stay again!

I stayed here for a long weekend with a group of friends, and we could not have picked a better place? We're all nature lovers and there were plenty of hiking trails within a reasonable driving distance, but Chris and Heather also provided kayaks and a canoe with which to check out the lake on the property. We went out on the water at least once a day! The house itself was absolutely lovely as well. It was incredibly clean when we got there and had plenty of space for all of us, including room to gather while we played board games or watched movies. There was firewood provided, so we had some fires as well! Lots to do and a great place to get away with friends and/or family. Would without a doubt stay again if we can make it work!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at the cabin. It is completely secluded and private which is what we were looking for. It is right on the water and we loved being able to use the canoe and kayaks that were provided. The cabin has all the modern amenities of a brand new home. The decor is amazing. The kids definitely enjoyed having wifi and the FOUR tv's! The yard is wonderful. We had plenty of room to play games and we spent a lot of time outside around the fire and at the picnic table. Chris and Heather were wonderful hosts. They provided everything we needed to check in easily and their communication was outstanding throughout our visit. I would highly recommend Cook's Cove for your next cabin getaway. You will not be disappointed!
