Perhaps a moose or other forest animals will pass by, probably eyeing you skeptically. Below the cabin is an idyllic open space with benches, a gap hut and a small playground. The area in the east of Hedmark is also known as Finnskogen, an area that lies on the Swedish and Norwegian side of the border from Eidskog in the south of Hedmark to Trysil in the north. The nearest town is Kongsvinger with all it has to offer in shopping, restaurant life and culture. Here you can visit for example the Kongsvinger fortress.
