One of the most peaceful and beautiful best kept secrets in Virginia. This was one of the most perfect homes we have ever rented! Cozy, private, and breathtaking views. The home has everything from a fully stocked kitchen to family games to play. Its a favorite place I will rerurn to again and again to keep making the best family memories! The locals are friensly, the food is great, and if you love horses and costal living, this location has it all at your fingertips!

We really loved our stay for a girls weekend! Loved the privacy of the home and the balconies and dock. Truly enjoyed the modern feel of this water front property. Owner extremely quick to answer any questions or comments! We were able to request linens prior to arrival and beds were all made and ready. We enjoyed the hot tub. Quick ride into town and close to everything. We even saw a couple foxes on our drive up to the house. Would definitely stay here again in a warmer season.

Bay View was exactly as shown in the pictures—bright and airy and modern! Everything was very clean and the layout worked well for our group that included kids, a grandparent and an aunt. Everyone had comfortable rooms and plenty of space to spread out. Our only small note is that the kitchen, while spacious and beautiful, could have been better outfitted for actual cooking—particularly in regards to pots and pans. Overall, though, we were very pleased with this house!

This property was a bird watcher's paradise! We spent so much time looking out at the beautiful bay. There was an Osprey nest in the bay visible from the deck and we loved watching Mom and Dad Osprey hunting for their chick. The property was immaculate; toilet paper and dish soap were provided. We did end up bringing our own bedsheets after reading previous reviews. The hot tub worked splendidly and we ended every day there. We would absolutely return!
