5 stars all the way!! Our family of four adults, a three-year old and a six-year old absolutely loved our 8 days at Bridget’s Elkhorn Cabin in Flagstaff. The cabin exceeded our expectations on all levels thanks to Bridget’s meticulous attention to detail - from appliances to bedding. The cabin was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated … somehow perfectly blending both the outdoorsy-ness of a cabin with a clean and modern decor fit for 2024. The basement recreation room was the perfect hangout for our littles who picked up new skills in both air hockey and shuffle board. They also enjoyed traversing the tight rope and jungle gym equipment outside and roasting marshmallows for s’mores. Just a 12 minute drive into downtown Flagstaff, 90 minutes from the South Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon and 45 minutes to Sedona, the cabin is ideally located to enjoy both a secluded homestead and easy access to the popular local attractions. Bridget is the absolute best Airbnb host ever!!!

The cabin is beautiful and in a remote/private location, but not too far from restaurants and other amenities. We enjoyed hiking the trails accessible from the property, and the views of snow capped mountains out the living room windows were stunning. Not only was Bridget super helpful and responsive before and during our stay, but she has thought of every detail one would want in a home away from home and then some. The design aesthetic is lovely, cohesive, and modern. A perfect blend of upscale and outdoors in one! We wish we could stay longer.

My only hesitation in providing a five star review is a selfish desire to keep this gem to myself! It was truly the best experience we have had vacationing through Airbnb. Many have been memorable, but nothing has come close to this place. The owners were very helpful with directions/suggestions, left a thoughtful welcome package and had the house more than ready for us to stay. We had teens, a nine year old, as well as adults here and everyone had the same positive experience. We definitely plan on visiting again. The setting was amazing and the spaces inside were decorated and furnished beautifully. It was a short drive to restaurants and shopping, and easy to get to hiking/outdoor activities.

If I could get Bridgets’ beautiful mountain cabin 6 stars, I would! The cabin is clean, spacious, and comfortably furnished. It is located in beautiful, private wooded surroundings with a mountain view. I visited with my husband, two children, and parents. There was plenty of space for all six of us to enjoy and relax. The home has everything needed for a wonderful time in all weather. On our first morning there, we awoke to 4 inches of snow. The the cabin provided everything we needed to enjoy it: warm blankets, plenty of split wood for the indoor woodstove, wood for the outdoor fire pit, and multiple sleds. My children were in heaven! When they got cold and came inside, they enjoyed the entertainment, rooms, shuffleboard and ping-pong tables. My mom and I enjoyed cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. We were all in all of the wildlife right outside our windows. Mule deer crossed the yard every day, and Abert squirrels ran up to the porch. This place is a bit of heaven!

This home is everything you’d want in a cabin getaway in Flagstaff. Beautiful home and the surroundings are stunning with a great view of the mountains. Fireplace was really nice and the design of the spaces were fantastic.
