The studio is a bright and modernly furnished gem in the heart of Linden, a lovely safe suburb of Joburg. Across the street you will find a great variety of cafes, restaurants and unique shops. From the studio you can conveniently visit the many highlights the city offers or commute to work. The Gautrain station in Rosebank is 20 mins away. The studio offers a cozy lounge area, comfy bedroom, well-equipped kitchen and a private garden with a built-in braai. Parking is available on the premise. The studio caters for single or couple travellers as well as for business purposes. It is part of a small and peaceful complex comprising of 6 units. Some of the units are rented to tenants. All have lovely gardens & trees and good security. From the shared parking area you enter the studio via your private garden and porch. Despite being a tiny home the studio has a spacious feel to it. Stepping into the place you will find yourself in the comfortable lounge area which faces the well-equipped open-plan kitchen. In the mornings the space is flooded with sunlight and singing birds. The queen size bed is comfy and separated from the lounge by a half high wall to provide for privacy. Overall the studio has plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom is compact though has everything you could possibly need including a nice hot shower.

I enjoyed my stay so much at Cornelia's place. I would happily make this a base again and wonder to all the surrounds. It was so peaceful and beautiful restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance.
Lovely place in the heart of Linden! The cottage/tiny house is well equipped with everything you need, including cooking utensils, a hair dryer and a clothes steamer. The hosts were super friendly & helpful and you can certainly ask them for recommendations & advice on almost anything. Linden is a safe neighbourhood with lots of cute cafes and restaurants, as well as supermarkets, all in walking distance (5-10 min) from the Baobab. Would definitely recommend to everyone who is travelling to Joburg, whether on holiday or for a business trip.
I’ve stayed in many spots as a commuter and have often found that there’s always something missing: sometimes salt, sometimes shampoo, sometimes a dustpan, small things. Boabab literally has everything that you didn’t even know you need :)

This was the best airbnb I've ever experienced. Every detail of this wonderful home immerses you in an unforgettable journey. I traveled to Johannesburg just to stay in this house and it was a fantastic experience. Everything about this place is perfect. The combination of colors and details, the perfect furniture, the high quality cookware that allows you to cook masterpieces. The coffee machine helps with morning coffee. The patio with garden and singing birds immerse you in an atmosphere of tranquility. Nearby cafes and stores all you need. The neighborhood is the safest in the city. And Cornelia was very responsive and helpful at every opportunity. An unforgettable time in this house, I will remember all my life.

The studio is literally located in the heart of the lovely center of Linden. A 'village' in Johannesburg (colloquially known as Jozi or Joburg). Within walking distance you will find several cafes for a delicious breakfast, open from early morning. A little later in the day, the restaurants open; for an Indian, Greek, South American, or Portuguese meal you only have to cross the street. And if you prefer to eat at home, there is the caterer or the supermarket at the corner. The shops in the area vary from boutiques by young SA designers to (second hand) trinkets. But there are also 'just' the laundromat and dry cleaning for more practical matters. A kilometre away you will find Delta and Emmarentia Park for a walk, a bike ride or for canoeing. The bike and canoe can be borrowed from us.
The easiest way to reach our studio is by car or Uber by downloading and booking online. Coming from the airport, one can also first take the Gautrain to Rosebank station and take an Uber from there. This takes about 55 minutes.
