老爷爷是英国人，在蓝卡生活了20年。非常和蔼很友好。我们出机场已是凌晨很晚了，老爷爷还耐心的一直在机场口等待。和我们一起做tutu车回到民宿。

I was able to pick this gem, after zooming several near by dwellings. Christopher is indeed a very helpful person, who communicates with personal touch & try to resolve any issues. I had an unusual travel time, but he managed to accommodate me with ease. Stay was awesomely completed with houseman Chamida's local culinary skills. He also helped me to communicate with taxi driver with local language (Sinhala) & gave easy instructions, who can't fluently speak English. Homestay was very relaxing experience with privacy. Rooms were decent with A/C as an option. Oh, what else.. They even happy to join me for a chit chat with tea/coffee. Have to mention, host will be there to greet on arrival & also on departure, to say bon voyage! That's what i call homely touch & I felt more than welcomed. Let's talk about food! With very short notice, Chaminda able to provide lunch & healthy dinner with dessert, all of them were locally sourced. Overall experience was great & will come again.

Christopher sociable and friendly host. Located in a quiet residential area, to the center of Negombo city 30 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by scooter / taxi / tuktuk. Convenient location for transit to/from the airport (host provide services to transfer to the airport). Chaminda served a delicious dinner and breakfast, thank you. Friendly dogs and cats.

Christopher is such a nice man! The room is very cute :) location is a bit for away from the city center, so it would be nice to have a scooter or bike!

If you want somewhere quiet to gather your thoughts before setting out to explore Sri Lanka, Christopher’s airbnb is ideal. Just being collected by a friendly face at the airport and whisked off through the crowds is worth every penny of the very reasonable cost, quite apart from the splendid breakfasts. Christopher (a cultured Brit who is now based permanently in Negombo) is assisted by the wonderful Chaminda who drives the tuktuk, cooks and is generally on hand to resolve all practical problems, such as getting a phone SIM and booking onward travel. The house itself is not luxurious but very pretty and there’s a nice garden where you can chill out over a glass of home made apple juice, talk to the resident pets and generally slow down to the local pace of life.
