My family and I had an excellent 2 week stay at the Southern Mermaid Cottage. We especially enjoyed the large backyard with pool, the well stocked kitchen for family meals and the short walk to the beach. We will definitely book this house for another trip to Port St. Joe again in the future!
We had a perfect week at this beautiful house! The location was perfect and the house felt like home. So close to the beach and Shipwrecked Restaurant was so close and never disappointed! We would love to stay again!
If we could rate higher than a 5 we would! I’ve been coming to Port Saint Joe for over 15 years and this is the best equipped home we have ever stayed at. My husband loves to cook fresh seafood and brings all his supplies with him. This year we decided to pack light and just eat out and buy beach supplies as needed. We didn’t have to because they had all the kitchen cooking supplies and beach trip supplies you will need! They had an air fryer so our leftovers tasted fresh along with a griddle and even a crockpot. Coming in from the beach with dinner ready was a treat. The rooms are spacious and the house was very clean. They are installing a pool out back but there is still plenty of room for your dog to roam. If you are not sure, just book it! It is the perfect home with everything you need, just pack your bathing suit and sunscreen!
