My Airbnb is a second-floor apartment in a pre-Civil War Italianate home in Ottawa's east side historic district. Within walking distance of downtown shopping and dining including an award winning microbrewery. The property is adjacent to the Fox River and I&M Canal path offering fishing and outdoor recreation. Enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Live simply at this peaceful and centrally-located home! This is a historic home with lots of space! The home was built in 1850 and gives you the sense that you have stepped back in time! We have tvs, internet, and plenty of room for your stay!

Had a wonderful stay. Very old n historic house n neighborhood. Easy Walkable distance to the downtown district. House could use a bit of work but it didn’t affect our stay in the least. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable upper flat. The house is in a residental neighborhood on a quiet street. We were able to walk to a great coffee shop in less than 10 minutes. Visitors should know ahead of time that this property does not have a deadbolt on the entry door. There IS, however, an updated handle lock with digital keypad and the code is updated for each guest. You can be sure that no one from a previous stay can use their code to get in. The hosts were great at responding efficiently to any and all questions we sent their way. Super friendly, too.
