Lucy was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the room was convenient and clean and it was perfect to be able to come and leave with absolute flexibility, without having to worry about disturbing anyone late at night. Would definitely come bacK!

Lucy er en meget god vært, hun er meget gæstfri. Værelset er simpelt, og beliggenheden er perfekt. Lucy har skiftet værelse så der ikke længere er vinduer ud mod gaden, jeg oplevede ikke problemer med støj fra gaden.

The modest room and limited facilities is largely compensated by the excellent location nearby metro, many shops and restaurants as well beautiful parks and museums.

Lucy's apartment is in a great location, a couple of minutes from the Metro and El Corte Ingles shopping centre (which includes supermarket, food halls and cinema). Edward VII Park, Amalia Rodrigues Park and the Gulbenkian Museum are all a walkable distance too. The apartment is in the traditional neighbourhood of Bairro Azul, which was built in the 1930s, and both the building and apartment feel like you're stepping back in time as most of the original features are intact. Lucy was away when I stayed but her brother Robson welcomed me to their home and was attentive and friendly. He went out of his way to check that I was comfortable and had everything I needed to make my stay pleasant. It was easy to feel at home, which for a solo traveller was much appreciated. Lucy was in regular contact throughout, with recommendations and suggestions before and after I arrived. The apartment block was quiet, so it was no problem getting a good night's sleep after a full day out and about!

Very nice host. Place was clean and loved the location. A bit noisy at night but wearing earplugs helped. She provided a big bottle of water immediately and I liked that because I stayed when weather was warm.
