Perched on the edge of wild moorlands, at the foot of the Ochil hills you’ll find Stonehill Loft. Close to the small cathedral city of Dunblane with good rail links, our loft is private, stylish and spacious. Fitted-out consciously using vintage, pre-loved or sustainably sourced furnishings. Centrally located for Stirling, the Trossachs National Park, the 765 national cycle route, a stopover for the Highlands or just visiting family. Lounge/dining/kitchen room Large sofa-bed, armchair, table with four chairs, TV with Freeview and streaming services DAB/FM/Bluetooth radio/speaker, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, induction hob, plenty of pans/dishes/crockery, compact combination oven/microwave - good for regular meals, not big enough for a Sunday roast though ! Bedroom Super king-size bed, clothes hanging rail, armchair. Bathroom Walk-in electric shower, vegan toiletries, heated towel rail Entrance hall, stairs, landing Space to hang coats and store shoes, cupboard for hanging clothes and storing luggage.

Jo and Gareth could not of been more accommodating hosts. The loft is beautifully done and spotlessly clean! Would highly recommend staying here.
Wonderful isolated location but a only a 5 min drive from local shops and supermarkets. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Apartment was spacious and spotless and the master bed was very comfy. Only things to note: the kitchen has a combo microwave/oven and the TV has only basic freeview options so limited family viewing but the Wi-Fi was great, especially for a rural location!
A wonderful spot and a stunning loft! So much space, comfy bed and great kitchen. I loved the eco friendly touches and ethos, made me feel both welcomed and conscientious at the same time.
A really warm and beautiful place to stay, close to Dunblane and Bridge of Allan with good transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow. High up on the hill so fantastic views but too far to walk from the station a car would be required. Fantastic local walking straight from the loft. High quality bedding and appliances. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
Our second stint in a 3 weeks at Jo and Gareth’s. Our first stay was excellent and the second, even better. They are wonderful hosts. The loft heats up very quickly too should the weather change. You cant really go wrong staying with them.

The Loft is situated on the site of an old farm steading in a quiet neighbourhood (6 houses) surrounded by fields with access to multiple walking, running, biking trails and routes. It's 1.5 miles from Dunblane village where there are supermarkets, grocery stores, pubs, takeaway restaurants and a railway station with direct trains to Edinburgh Glasgow and Perth.
Free parking next to loft entrance.
1.5 miles to Dunblane center where you can find local shops, M&S foodhall and supermarket plus takeaway options and couple of pubs and restaurants. Possible to walk to centre via woodland tracks.
Dunblane has railway and bus links to Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and further afield. The Caledonian sleeper train to London stops in Dunblane most evenings.
The restaurants and takeaways of Bridge of Allen are a hike or 10 minute drive away. Stirling has a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and is also a 10 minute drive.

We’re the Westons. Our journey together started when we met as a result of an advert looking for love in a travel magazine. Since then, we’ve travelled, lived abroad and recently returned to the UK from a 12-years living in the Netherlands with two boys in tow! We moved to Scotland in a leap of faith, on a quest to live in the nature, experience space and spend our days and nights gazing at the hills and big starry skies. We’re always on an adventure that’s why we thought it would be nice to meet other adventurers and share the beautiful place we live with others to have their own micro-adventure too. We are trying to reduce our impact on the planet so we have developed a space which reflects that, minimizing waste and hopefully making you smile and enjoy it at the same time. We hope to inspire those that visit to do the same at home whilst breathing in oodles of fresh clean air on the windswept hills!
