So firstly the good. The apartment was as described, centrally located and obviously belonged to someone who had cared about the property when they had it. It was clean and it was easy to walk to restaurants, bars and sports shops. Great to have a lift and it felt safe. Notes. You pick the keys up and give back at an office which is in the next village. This requires planning if you don’t have a car. It is on a bus route. The staff at the local office were lovely but they work office hours. Next the bad. This is a corporate let, aka faceless websites, if you are expecting a personal service with essentials left or a host book with local recommendations think again. You will get one email prior to the letting full of rules, instructions and small print. Read carefully - they won’t respond as quickly as they do ref your booking ever again. They will also only send proforma emails. The only way to get an issue sorted is to contact the local office (when they are open). Good luck!

It was ok. Location was the best part. Issues : tiny shower, beds were very hard and uncomfortable, duvet covers were extremely hot and in the middle of the night I had to find a semi-lighter blanket and switch out the sheets. Sleeping on those beds was not fun, maybe a 4-5 hours each night. I jist arrived home and slept 14 hours my body was so tired.

I loved this apartment! Balcony overlooking the main street in Villars. Steps right out the door to the street. Very well-stocked kitchen and apartment. Laundry on site but a bit hard to find...first floor door right by the entrance to the pool. I did not have a car with me so greatly appreciated how easy it was to access the shops and restaurants from this apartment.
