A slice of paradise! A perfect little cottage with incredible views. It quite truly felt like we were all alone, the home was spotless and kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The towels were fancy hotel quality and the beds were comfy. Best of all, the sunsets are out of this world. We appreciated the fact that the house had dog bowls and both rooms included a goodie basket. What a gem. We could have easily stayed much longer!

Black Duck Run is the perfect little getaway. It literally has everything, including a phenomenal view. Lots of extras, like outdoor games for the kids, and all the kitchen gadgets you could ask for. Cleanliness was next level and all the NS decor and little details were a perfect touch. Rodney and Angie were super responsive - big thanks to them for the additional firewood! Our family of 6 had all kinds of space, both inside and out. Highly recommend Black Duck Run!

Rodney's cottage is located in a beautiful spot. It's located somewhat close to the road but it's extremely quiet. The view of the water was beautiful, and we loved watching the tides and sea birds. The cottage was very clean - bathroom, kitchen, floors, etc. Our hosts went out of their way to provide little things like condiments, lotion, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and walking on the nearby trails.

This cottage was exactly what we wanted, right on the water, & quiet. It is totally equipped with anything you‘d need. Nice kitchen appliances. There’s no grocery store close by. There is a small one approximately 9 km away. If you pick up your groceries in Sheet Harbour or Antigonish depending on whether you are travelling from the east or west, you’ll have everything you need. Only had one question for Rodney and he responded quickly. No hesitation on recommending this cottage.
