Thank you we had a lovely time. The property was in a perfect situation for our nephews wedding at a local venue. We had to travel a long way so decided to make the most of it by staying for a week. We found plenty to do in the local area. We ran out of time so intend to returning the future thank you Peter and Liz.

Mikes place was exactly what we needed. There were 4 adults and 2 kids and we were looking for a place near Gateshead that felt far away but close enough that my elderly parents could come. There were a number of added luxuries for us. The beautiful landscape, horses and sheep wandering through fields, a trampoline to keep the kids occupied, a fully equipped kitchen, bbq (although we didn’t use it), lots of kids books and toys. This all made our staycation more enjoyable. Mike and Sorrell were great hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. They brought extra towels when needed and answered all questions promptly. We’d definitely stay again.

This was an amazing find. Mike and Sorrel are new to Airbnb and we didn't have any recommendations to read and go on. However, we didn't need to worry we were very impressed and felt at home straight away in this spacious comfortable property, bright with AMAZING views across a valley to the Pennines from the kitchen and lounge. Mike and Sorrel always contactable for any help should you need it. (we didn't, helpful information folder) Every kitchen requirement available should you require it, spacious garden and patio area. Easy access to the Roman sites. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend it. Thank you G&C

Thank you Mike and Sorrel for an absolutely fabulous stay. Our children had the most wonderful time with all the books and toys provided, and the swing and trampoline were great too. Comfortable beds, ample dining and living area and a well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the local area, and thoroughly recommend Kielder Reservoir and High Force Waterfall if you are happy to travel further afield.
