Hello I am a patent attorney and travel a lot and rent rooms or the house out. I love gardening and earth science which explains why I have an a cred perennials and native wildflowers, and gardens. When I originally bought the house, no one remembered the river was there. because it was overgrown with trees and buckthorn . But I saw the rive it on aerial maps, and decided to buy the house and clear it. I cleared 200 hundred feet of frontage and found I am on a navigable quiet private bay that leads out to the main river if you paddle for about 5 to ten minuts. that has good fishing. You can launch kayaks or canoes from the shore, and it takes about 5 to ten minutes to get past the inlet and out to the big water where there a lot of wild life and a faster current. I have three kayaks and a large canoe on premises. If you are bringing a boat or RV I have a boat turn-around in my driveway. I am two blocks from a public boat launch and a mile from a public golf course with a driving range I also like bonfires and grills and out outdoor cooking. So I have three fire pits, a gas grill, a huge charcoal We ber, a flat grill for party, a new Kamodo grill for searing steaks and cooking food at high temps , as well smoker (wood pellet grill) for slow cooking on the deck. Take your pick. If you like outdoor dining , I and a pop-up , furnished gazebo tent with furniture and mosquito netting by one of the fires. The fires are great into the winter and there is cross country skiing on the river and snow mobiling nearby. I have a an outdoor heater. Sorry, no heater. I like bikes too, and will leave you info about trails and rentals My friends like lake and ocean views, but I will always pick living on the river, watching animals and sort of collect pictures of them. I"ll leave you my scrapbook and a list and tell you when and where to find them, in case you want to have a contest as to who can get cell phone pics the most animals - 3 species of deer, foxes, turkeys, coyotes, 5 kinds of butterflies, geese, ducks, raccoons, badgers, beavers, 3 kinds of squirrels, cotton tail rabbits, groud hogs, frogs snakes., fireflies. I have three sturdy kayaks on the grounds, including a double one, and a huge over sized canoe. I will leave a bike and a fishing pole and high boots in a bunch of different sizes in the garage because it is good to have them to wade in the river or launch kayaks if there is a lot of mud
