Situated in Puntas on exclusive Sandy Beach you'll sleep under the stars to the song of coquis. This is glamping with indoor plumbing and lush covered outdoor living and dining spaces, blending the best of a home stay with an Airbnb rental. Expect a visit from inquisitive kitties who live on the property. Airport pick-up and artisinal breakfast available upon request for an additional charge. You'll stay in a large two room cabin style tent with a queen bed and electrical outlets. The bathroom is in the main house shared with the family. There's one rental on the property so there will be no other guests. We're down the road from The Tamboo Tavern, Casa Verde, Casa Isleña, The Big Kahuna, Jack's Shack, Jake's Java and so much more. During surfing season there's a busy night life with nearby live music most evenings.

Ich und mein Freund haben eine Nacht bei Maria verbracht. Das Zelt entsprach unseren Erwartungen und Vorstellungen. Maria ist eine super nette und hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Nur ein paar Meter entfernt ist ein toller Strand zum Surfen und vielseitige Restaurants. Unser Aufenthalt hier war super!
We had an amazing stay at Maria’s and enjoyed the company of many cats. The tent was clean, spacious, and well ventilated with fans and natural breeze. We had access to a clean bathroom and shower on the inside. The location is fantastic, a short walking distance from Sandy Beach and restaurants. The value was great. Maria and her daughter were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This is a popular tourist area with a weekend nightlife and lots of seasonal visitors. There are a number of Airbnb stays near by and sometimes there is related noise.
There's lots in walking distance, from little shops, to a coffee spot and lunch shack as well as restaurants and bars. Sandy Beach is at the bottom of a long hill in Puntas and you'll want a vehicle to travel to town or the nearby lighthouse or la marina.
I have a 26" bicycle available for rental as well as a Suzuki hatchback that is often available for short term rental.

I'm semi-retired enjoying the home my parents designed and built when Rincón was a quiet country town. This is a one of a kind property which somehow preserves a sense of natural wildness and peace alongside a busy surfing beach. It's a cat lovers paradise and 420 friendly.
