No additional cleaning fee. Enjoy this private casita just outside the Taos town limits. Watch the sunset from the porch or hike the adjacent national forest trail. 10 min to Taos plaza. Located on 5 acres, adjacent to the Main Home on a sleepy dirt road with mountain vistas all around. As of July 25, we have added an evaporative cooler and tower fan. Watch the clouds or stargaze, or head to northern New Mexico attractions Ojo Caliente, Taos Ski Valley, Sipapu, and Angel Fire. Modern New Mexican architecture and comfort, away from the noise of town and in quiet of the pines. Queen bed, queen sofa bed.

Staying at AirBnB’s is one of my favorite parts about traveling and CJ and Katie’s place is exactly why. This is truly one of the nicest ones I’ve stayed at anywhere. First, the setting is incredible. You are literally nestled in the hills with forest around you. And yet, you’re just a short drive to everything. It is so peaceful and quiet here. You will love it. And then the space it’s self. They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Literally every little thing you could think of, they thought of, including things you may not have thought of. That’s what makes an Airbnb special. Lastly, the mornings. Oh man. Bring your coffee outside and just enjoy the birds. Taos has a lot to do, but I kind of wanted to just hang out here! Thank you for hosting us!
Lovely casita within 8 minutes of Taos Plaza. Very peaceful and had everything you would need. Great spot for a work trip. Would stay again-- beautiful sunsets!

Directly adjacent to the Carson National Forest on the back property line, our neighborhood is a quiet, spacious-lot, dark sky friendly place with retirees, horse enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, artists, and families.
Most visitors to Taos will need their own vehicle. Although there is an area bus service (called the Blue Bus) and occasional Uber/Lyft availability, these services are not reliable and sometimes unavailable during high travel times. Taos Ski Valley shuttle service from El Prado to the Taos Ski Valley is very reliable during ski season, but you will need a car to get to the El Prado shuttle pick up. We have ample parking in the gravel parking area for one or two vehicles - please ask before booking if you wish to bring a trailer, a large RV, or more vehicles.

We are quiet people who love Austin, Texas and Taos, New Mexico. CJ builds tiny houses and does graphic design and Katie runs a training company. We use AirBnB as guests and we love hosting. CJ "Ceige" built our Tiny House himself and we're proud to share it with others who want to try out Tiny House living for a short stay. We love sharing the restorative mountain views of our Taos spots with those who want peace and quiet.
