This place was not what I expected. Once we arrived the outside of the place was completely overgrown with plants and weeds. The entire building was hot coming in. Once we got in we immediately realized that the windows are all actually open with no screen separating the inside from the outside. There was so many bugs in the unit. The host mentions critters because it’s “south Florida” to try to normalize the fact that there are open windows that allows all outside creatures to come in with no restrictions. Don’t leave food anywhere if you do not want to deal with the ants that are all over the unit. And the shower was extremely small you can barely turn around in it. Overall just disappointing. Even the modern renovations that I saw were poorly done and looked cheap. Photography doesn’t show exactly what you’re actually getting.

It’s decent overall but be prepared for a lot of bugs and the windows don’t close all the way. There was no soap for the shower and barely enough toilet paper or paper towels.
