Soldotna · 整套小木屋 · 4室8床2.0卫 · 可住12人 · Private A-frame cabin btwn Kenai & Kasilof rivers
Enjoy this fun and uniquely Alaskan property. Private modern, yet rustic A-Frame Cabin perfectly situated between the Kenai and Kasilof rivers. 3 acres on ponds with abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. Enjoy 3 spacious bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and real Alaskan living from the log beds to the live edge finishes throughout. Easy high way access for early morning charters and close to dining and shopping, but privacy away from the crowds. 3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft (listed as bedroom 4, but without privacy), 2 full bathrooms, fully furnished, newly remodeled A-frame cabin, perfectly situated between the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers for easy fishing access. While the Kenai is world famous, the Kasilof has just as much to offer without the crowd. Try both! The cabin is just 10 minutes to the hospital for travelling healthcare professionals. As the cabin is situated in a wooded, pond front area, wildlife is often seen nearby, including moose, carribou, eagles and sandhill cranes. Comfortably sleeps 12 in beds, not on air mattresses or couches. Rustic finishes accent modern amenities for the true, Alaskan experience in comfort. Each bedroom has a faux fireplace heater, thoughtful bedding, and light blocking curtains. The newly finished kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, spices, coffee maker, crockpot and more. The dining table allows for seating for 10, but additional chairs are provided. The living area contains comfortable seating and a smart TV. There is a full size freezer available to store fish after having it processed. Privacy with easy highway access and a convenience store at the entry to the driveway. Internet is provided using an AT&T mifi in the cabin that runs just like a cell phone hotspot. Help yourself to our everbearing raspberries on the left side yard. They are delicious and usually ready to eat by mid-June or early July and often produce until September.. Note that due to steep stairs, this home may not be suitable for children under 2 or anyone with a mobility issues. Also PLEASE NOTE: ceiling height in kitchen is approximately 6'5, which may be too short for some individuals. My 6'1 husband is not bothered by it. Please reserve for the accurate number of guests. The price changes as more guests are added in order to make the cabin affordable to small groups. The guest count changes the amount of linens used, wear and tear, and cleaning necessary, so guests beyond 2 incur a fee of $25 per guest per night. Thank you for understanding.
This was by far my most pleasant stay at an airbnb yet. Erin brought us home made cookies, and even offered to bring us fresh caught salmon from the area! It was just a really good stay, i highly recommend this place and host. Great job Erin!
This is the first time I have rented an airbnb and this place was way better than I expected! I cant say enough about Erin and all the little extra things we found when we arrived. There was fire wood neatly stacked, home made cookies, eggs butter and cream in the fridge, and more coffee selections than You would find at a 5 star hotel. Everything was five star! The beds and linens were comfortable and clean. Everything in the kitchen was amazing from the pots and pans to the silver ware. Erin didn't skimp on anything! I felt like I was cooking and eating in my own home. I cant say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I usually try to go to Alaska once a year and from now on if this place is available thats where I'll stay!!! Post script Erin is also very responsive to any questions or needs you may have. Awsome trip!!!!
If you want a clean peaceful place this is the place for you. Although it was just my husband and I there is a lot of room for a family. I absolutely recommend this place hands down to any other. You will not be disappointed. She has obviously paid attention to detail in every manner imaginable; we lacked absolutely nothing. I hope to return someday in our lifetime.
if you're planning a trip this area then I highly recommend this place. so peaceful, saw some wildlife. had a few fires in the house, and one outside. all of the little extras were a nice touch
Soldotna is a fishing town on the Kenai Peninsula (called Alaska's Playground) about 2.5 hours south of Anchorage. Just a 20 minute flight can get you from Anchorage to Kenai (20 minutes away and sister city to Soldotna). Both Soldotna and Kenai are along the Kenai River and offer world class fishing with 3 varieties of salmon as well as rainbow trout. Halibut, rock fish, and other fishing may be easily accessed in Homer (1 hour 15 minutes away), Seward (2 hours away) and Ninilchik (40 minutes). The drive is always worth it to take in the gorgeous views.
The Kasilof River is a lesser known hot spot for fishing with far less of a crowd, but just as good fishing. With our location, it's easy to try out both!
The cabin itself is situated off the highway about 5 minutes from the main area of town. Some light road noise is to be expected based on the location. Private cabin in a wooded setting on ponds allows for a secluded, yet accessible stay.
A car will likely be necessary to access fishing and local amenities. We have an 11 passenger Econoline van available for rent with pick up at the Kenai airport.
自我介绍
I have lived in Alaska for 15 years and have loved every minute. I am a mom to 6 children and I have an incredible husband who has done the updates and finishes on our cabin. We have been hosting friends several times every summer in our home and we're excited to have a special place to host new friends and share everything Alaska has to offer.
