We don’t like cats, but to each their own. We weren’t there to hang around. For 33 days we would have to say it was the BEST KEPT SECRET for LOCATION AND PRICE! CAN’T FORGET THE MORNING VIEW, BEAUTIFUL! We recommend you look for this place 3 months in advance by the time you check in you could have it paid off so you can save your tourist money for tourist things. We’re not rich, but we did a lot of things budgeting with this gem. Thanks Martine. Chris & Remie.

Martine’s private bedroom with private bath in her lovely Kailua home was the perfect respite for my 30-day solo stay on Oahu. My bff joined me for the first week, and the high-quality bed was quite comfortable for the two of us to enjoy a peaceful night’s rest after a full day of island exploration! Marine and Mark were incredibly gracious hosts, and made us feel like family. As a return traveler to the islands, I always rent a vehicle and travel everywhere the roads lead — all over the Windward side of the island, from the beaches of Waimanalo to the North Shore along the coastal highway! Honolulu is a short drive across the pali to all the big-city attractions; Kailua Beach Park is only 10 minutes from home; and everything else you may need (from restaurants to shopping to drug stores and hospitals or urgent care centers is literally 5 minutes away. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. ❤️❤️❤️

We're glad that we found Mark and Martine's Airbnb! This was our best and most memorable stay so far - and let me tell you, we've been to a lot of places. Not only was their home as described (lovely decorated, sweet cats, amazing garden and super clean!) but they are incredible people. Whatever issue we were dealing with, they were super helpful. We had a lot of fun days and nights talking and doing things together such as exploring the stunning beaches of Hawai'i. The communications was great and easy - they always responded kindly and immediately. If you have the chance to stay with them, don't miss it! We could go on and on with more positive words about them, but we're limited by the word count. Let's just say one more thing: Mark and Martine did not only become friends of ours, but our Hawaiian family. We're looking forward to see them again! Mahalo for everything! 💕🏝️
