The apartment is clean and very well located (in a nice area with bars in walking distance and connected with a number of buses). Carolin is very helpful and polite. I definitely recommend it.

Let's start by saying that Carolin is a fabulous host, super interesting to converse with, but will also give you all the space you need, if you are not a chatterer. The apartment is as described and the location is perfect. She is located about two (short) blocks from the Rambla (you can see it from her balcony), and almost exactly halfway between the major points of interest. To the right, about a 40 minutes walk along the water to the old city (shorter if you walk through town) and to the left, about 15/20 to beaches and the most famous parks. Public transportation (bus) is cheap, abundant and excellent. (i recommend walking). What makes the location so ideal is the fact that you can do a one day walking tour from her palace to any interesting location in the entire city. I cannot recommend her place highly enough. Oh, i almost forgot; there is a money exchange place, a half block away.

Definitivamente regresaría al apartamento de Carolin, el lugar estaba impecable, la ubicación es excelente, muy bonito lugar, con una terraza donde se pude ver a unos metros la Rambla, Viera es un amor, desde un inicio me aceptó como si me conociera de siempre. Carolin es una persona muy amable, con muy buena vibra y encantadora, siempre está pendiente de lo que se necesita. Muchas gracias por el mate y esos jugos de frutos rojos que eran una maravilla, pero sobretodo por esa conversación tan amena. Indudablemente fue la mejor decisión que pude haber tomado, es la primera vez que estuve en Montevideo y regresaría nuevamente con Carolin y Viera.

Feels like home at Caroline’s airbnb. Couldn’t ask for a better stay or experience. The neighborhood is fantastic.

Carolin’s Airbnb is perfect in every sense. It’s in arguably one of the best areas of Montevideo and it’s conveniently located to everything you would need/want to access. She is the nicest host I have ever encountered on Airbnb and in general just an extraordinary person.
