We had a very good and calm time at this beautiful house. Went on a fishing trip with missi and loved every bit of our stay. Best if you have a car but no problem with bus & taxi. Thank you for this incredible experience.

Great location and very atmospheric property. A very special stay for one night but not really cosy enough for a longer stay. Check in process a bit confusing as not possible to use the QR code provided but key safe instructions clear and worked well. Internet was no longer available when we visited. Otherwise facilities good for an historic property. We were advised that not a good idea to drink the water at the property but only after we arrived which meant another trip out to the local town about 20 mins away.

Beautiful location, sitting on the deck watching the fish, jelly fish and finless porpoises swimming all day was lovely. The inside of the house also had its fair share of wildlife! Centipedes and large spiders, cockroaches, there are lots of cockroach traps dotted around the house. (They all hang out in the bathroom in particular) The bathroom had a bad smell in it, like drains. They provide you with insect repellent which you definitely need in this house! The kitchen didn’t feel very clean, the sponges and dish clothes left for us to use were quite dirty and had to clean the whole kitchen area with disinfectant as it wasn’t clean. If cooking note that no basic ingredients are provided such as oil, salt, pepper, soy sauce. Sadly, I have to say over all this house was disappointing. Although undoubtedly it is in a beautiful location. It wasn’t very comfortable or relaxing. The view outside makes it worth it though as the deck looks out over the bay
