We had a nice time at Elam's cabin! Very cozy, great wilderness location with a pretty view of the lake and the bathroom and kitchen were nicely updated and very functional!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Elam’s cabin! The views were awesome, and the cabin is cozy! Elam was very responsive to all of our inquiries and was very gracious when we had to shift our itinerary. We felt right at home. One thing to keep in mind: many of these North Shore cabins are pet-friendly, and there was some evidence of that!! However, it did not really impact our enthusiasm. We loved our stay here and would definitely come again.

My wife and I enjoyed a really peaceful long weekend here. It was so cozy and relaxing inside and close to a bunch of state parks, restaurants, and other attractions along the North Shore. It was so awesome to wake up and see the sunrise over Lake Superior each morning and be able to see all the stars at night. Can't wait to come back here!

This hidden gem up the North Shore fit my vision perfectly for the cozy winter cabin getaway I wanted for my birthday. The only complaint I have is that the weekend went by too fast! The blend of rustic isolation and modern convenience made for a complete experience. Our little girls (3 & 6) absolutely loved the loft area to sleep and play. The reading nook and big picture window was a dream. I would (and have) already recommend this to anyone looking to escape the daily grind and recharge the batteries. It exceeded expecations and was even better in person than the pictures. Additionally, Elam was so kind and very prompt at the couple questions I had before booking. We will surely be back!
