Mikaya Luxury Villas is nestled in the mountains above Santa Teresa. A harmonious residency balancing nature, design, and comfort in a quiet residential area. Just a 5 minute drive to the local beach and town. Three large private suites with a full ocean view, a sun deck, a spacious infinity swimming pool, and an outside area to host unforgettable experiences. Relax with your favorite drink while watching the sunset. *Important: A 4x4 vehicle is needed to reach this property. Pura Vida. Mikaya is a brand new villa with a dedication to luxury and service. The villas is spacious, eco friendly and visually stunning. We are located in a central location right above the local beaches and restaurants with everything to make your stay unique! If you like Surfing, you only have to drive 5 min to the beach to a world class wave, Beaches, Restaurants, Grocery stores, shopping and nightlife are all minutes away. Mikaya has 3 large king size bedrooms and bathrooms that comfortably hosts 6 guests. All three of the suites have king Size beds (one of them has an option to be converted to two single beds for guest or child arrangements). The living room has oversized ceilings with beautiful bamboo threaded details and comes with a large 60” flat screen TV and other games and books. The dining table sits 6-8 guests comfortably, the granite countered fully equipped kitchen also has stools for 4 guests to enjoy not to mention the Italian appliances, large double door fridge/freezer and ice maker. We have private parking, Wi-Fi, and individual AC in each room to keep you cool during the warm nights. All 3 bathrooms enjoy gorgeous showers and top of the line finishes. The upstairs master bedroom has a bathtub on the balcony to enjoy a sunset like no other. The Mikaya experience comes with daily cleaning services. We offer laundry at an additional charge. We also offer in-house concierge services to cater all your needs. Mikaya is located on a private gated road which is not accessible to none guests or employees. The road has been constructed from concrete and is very easy to drive up. We do recommend anyone coming to Santa Teresa by car to have a 4x4 option. Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Mikaya war absolut traumhaft! Die Lage auf am Berg mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und einem fantastischen Infinity-Pool war einfach perfekt. Das Design der Villa ist exquisit und bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Sie ist großzügig gestaltet und bietet ein Höchstmaß an Luxus und Komfort. Die Ruhe und Privatsphäre, die diese Villa bietet, ist einfach unbezahlbar. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen, sei es beim Entspannen auf der Terrasse, beim Schwimmen im Pool oder beim Bewundern des Sonnenuntergangs über dem Meer. Tal war außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und stand uns bei allem zur Seite. Seine Empfehlungen für lokale Aktivitäten und Restaurants waren erstklassig und trugen dazu bei, dass unser Aufenthalt unvergesslich wurde. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Mikaya ein wahres Paradies und wir können es kaum erwarten, zurückzukehren. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Tal für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung! 5 Sterne reichen nicht aus!
Beautiful house, beautiful view, gorgeous sunsets. Tal was a very responsive host and Adriana connected us with a private chef , Barb, who was amazing, trip to Tortuga and surf lessons.
The beauty of the location over looking the ocean as well as the house itself was stunning. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Tal was so helpful!
We were literally blown away upon arrival to Mikaya!! The beauty of the villa and the privacy and views are unmatched in this area. I would 100% recommend Mikaya to anyone considering the Santa Teresa area of Costa Rica. The villa is close enough to town but far enough away to give you both activity when you want and peace, privacy and serenity when you crave that. Mikaya is a very, very special place and no pictures can compare to the experience of staying there. The photos shown are just a taste of the actual beauty once you arrive. Tal and Giulia were the most responsive and loveliest hosts. They met us personally at the Villa upon our arrival with smiles and hugs and checked in several times throughout our stay. The concierge Adriana was also extremely responsive, kind and helpful from the moment we booked our stay. She helped with flight arrangements, taxi service, car rental, groceries, and a surprise birthday celebration for my husband. We can't wait to return to Mikaya!

Located at the top of a private mountain road behind a gate you will find the villa is surrounded by jungle and as you walk thru the front entrance you will be greeted by an 180 degree ocean view. The villa is very private and you don't have any immediate neighbors. There is a large variety of shops, grocery stores, restaurants, activities and medical facilities all minutes away. Both day and night in Santa Teresa will keep you as busy or as relaxed as you wish.
Due to the jungle and mountain roads it is suggested to rent some form of 4x4 transportation. Getting around is easy, the roads are well maintained and for the most part quiet.
We have recently added 70% concrete roads on a private road all the way up to the villa so the drive is easy and smooth, however there are a few small sections to go.
Walking around the main strip of Santa Teresa is easy and there is plenty of shops and places to visit and eat or drink.
