A charming 2 minute walk to Lunac village, Maison Lou is situated on the historic Castel Viel land. A four season home, the large terrasse invites late evenings while the wood burning fireplace, underfloor and radiant heat provide warmth in the cooler months. On over an acre of private land, there are a variety of fruit trees from which you can pick and eat directly: currants, apples, mirabelles and figs. A variety of indoor and outdoor games are available for the whole family from puzzles and books, to pétanque on the raised pitch by the driveway and soccer on the front lawn. And little ones can « cook » alongside parents at the mini kitchen. Strong wifi make the house a perfect destination to work remotely (believe us, we have!). Equipped with a bluetooth record player, fill the home with the sounds of Georges Brassens or your favorite Spotify playlist. Both bathrooms feature rain showers, handcrafted wood surfaces and exquisite tree views. There are four bedrooms: Chambre 1 - on the ground floor with queen bed, armoire, direct terrasse access, and adjoining bathroom. Chambre 2 - the largest bedroom with silk upholstered double bed, chaise long, antique armoire and private balcony. Chambre 3 - perfect for children with art supplies, reading book & books, cds, chest of drawers, play tent and a twin bed. Additional cot can be added by request. Chambre 4 - tranquil with queen bed, chest of drawers and private balcony. Modern amenities include strong and fast wifi, newly designed kitchen with induction stove, washing machine, dimmable lights, and underfloor heating. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary cookware and vintage dinnerware handpicked from local brocantes to make seasonal meals that much more special. Nearby villages provide ample opportunities to experience all that Aveyron and nearby Tarn has to offer: from swimming in La Viaur, hiking trails and cycling routes, wine tasting in Gaillac and weekly markets in Villefranche de Rouergue and Najac.
