This waterfront cottage was the perfect get-away for our wedding anniversary. It is a very private and peaceful location. The views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence are amazing. You should be aware that it is a bit of a drive to the major attractions such as the Anne of Green Gables sites and Charlottetown, but the serenity and privacy of the cottage are worth it. Sheila was a perfect host with immediate responses to our needs. The internet began giving us problems midway through our stay, and Sheila made a special trip out to the cottage to help us communicate with the internet provider.

This cabin met and exceeded our expectations. Sheila made it easy and fast to start our vacation and we were thrilled with how private and peaceful the location was. The view was amazing and exceeded the pictures we saw when first booking. Thank you for making this vacation memorable.

Shelia is a very friendly host, responsive and quick in communications. The cottage is right by the ocean with magnificent view and easy access to the beach. The cottage has everything you need. However, it’s a bit dated and cluttered. If you prefer hotel style towels and beddings, you may consider to bring your own. Or if you wish to have some privacy in the living room area, bring some materials to cover the windows.

We had a great time. The bed was comfortable (hard to find a king size bed up there!) and the cottage had everything we needed. We kept the windows open and enjoyed nature's air conditioning for the whole trip. This was our first time staying on this side of the North Cape, and enjoyed it immensely. A short drive into downtown Tignish for food, gas, and places to eat, or we could venture further to Alberton for more options. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and Sheila was very communicative. She met us early for check-in, walked us through everything we needed to know. She checked in a couple of times over the week to make sure we were all set, but we were good!
