Robbinston · 整套乡村小屋 · 3室0床1.0卫 · 可住7人 · Cottage by the bay
Welcome to serene Robbinston, Maine. This magical place is one of the last wild places on the east coast where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Maine wilderness. From the back deck you can enjoy watching whales in the bay, seals on the beach, and eagles soaring the sky. Additional wildlife include moose, deer, bear, lynx, and fox. Enjoy a campfire in the backyard or on the beach and lose yourself in the details of the Milky Way spreading out above you or the occasional Aurora Borealis. A charming year round coastal house that was built in 1908 on the location of a pre civil war era ferry crossing with remnants of the old pier. The house is updated and includes a master bedroom with queen bed overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, a large bunk room with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds, and a smaller “teen room” with single bed. There is a new bathroom that is also upstairs. The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, and living room with pellet stove. We are a Native American family and take pride in our hunting heritage and included 2 moose mounts in the living room. Please respect the mounts as these magnificent animals fed our family for 3 years.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s beautiful, clean home! Such a treat to have an amazing water view! Amanda is a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable from beginning to end. Thank you and Happy 2024!❄️❄️❄️ D.
Glorious viewse, convenient location with access to all shopping and eating. These within 20 to 25 minutes period the only draw back was its proximity to highway one period there were times when it was a bit too noisy. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place and we would stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at Amanda’s place. The photos do not do it justice! We spent most of our time outside exploring but the house had everything we needed.
We had a really nice stay! Great view! Amazing to see the extreme tide, a seal and a rainbow from the back deck.
Robbinston has some of the best ATV trails in the state as well as very close access to Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. There are many places to hike and bike as well as fish or canoe. Eastport, Calais, Lubec, Saint Andrews, and Saint Stephen are all short drives and are packed with local art, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries.
