Right in the heart of the action where you'll get an authentic Vietnamese experience. There is some noise from the street below but we listen to rain sounds at night for sleeping and it was fine. The bed is comfortable and sheets and towels were clean, laundry and air conditioning work great. If he's not already, Bao should be listed as a national treasure. He was absolutely phenomenal from the time we booked to check out. He's flexible, communicative, and responsive to any issues. We had a bit of a snag with the water and Bao had it fixed within an hr or so. He provided us with a FULL list of restaurants, street food, activities and other suggestions to help us on our way. We cannot say enough about how great our experience was with Bao!

Communication with Bao was very easy. He was very friendly, quick responses and was extremely flexible when our flight got preponed. The location of the home is close to most places, but sometimes a bit loud at night (that can be true for other places as well). The room is spacious. We loved the winter garden and the swing. One thing which can be improved is the bathroom, it is tiny and less than minimalistic. We could somehow manage for 2 days, but for a longer period it could be a problem. In total, I would recommend Bao's place.

I highly recommend this place to stay if you visit Hanoi. The owner was very helpful and generous. The location is perfect for walking around and getting a local experience.

Bao was very responsive. But we faced few problems with the apartment. Apartment has lots of humidity, as soon as you enter you smell it and feel it. Toilet is beyond basic. The AC was not working although Bao told us he fixed it, but it wasn’t working at all, we slept with an open door, sweated all night and noises from the streets were super super annoying. Even if you close the door, there is not such thing as soundproofing. We stayed in much better places around the same area…
