Lovely, well kitted out cottage. Easy to find, all in good order, spotless. Very good base from which to discover the coast. It had everything we needed for a few days self catering. Very comfortable bed, great shower, brilliant DVD library, well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely accommodation, ideal for couples looking for a quiet break. It is well equipped and has everything and more you could possibly need. We enjoyed the vast choice of DVDs in the evenings- great selection. The property is across the road from beautiful views and walks. Happy memories created. Thank you.

Wonderful cottage in a fab location. I’m from the area but live away now and wanted something handy for Annan. The village is beautiful and this cottage is super with everything you could ever need. About twenty paces from the beach and a short hop across the road to the lovely pub/hotel for a pint. Elaine was a great host and the little welcome touches were lovely. Would recommend and will almost definitely be back

The Shore Cottage is set to a very high standard. Not only is everything superbly clean and well stocked (from a fully functioning kitchen to the entertainment, to towels to toiletries), the care to detail is keenly apparent. On top of that, Elaine left us a number of extra treats and coffee/quality tea (which is often missing at many airBnBs and thus greatly appreciated!), milk, etc. The attention to detail and the level of cleaniness really made us feel comfortable and welcomed. You have everything you need in the cottage, parking is easily found on the street, the shower is excellent, lots of hanging/wardrobe space... I could go on. Elaine provided excellent instructions for a smooth check-in and is also swift with communication. The true test is whether one would recommend a place to friends and family, and I would absolutely rave about this place to anyone going into these parts. Very professionally run airBnB - top marks all the way. PS as a tip, if you are thinking of having a meal at the hotel next door: rsvp-ing ahead of time is essential as they dont seem to have much space for visitors who are not guests. We only managed a wee drink outside (but staff was lovely!)
