A quintessential Airbnb experience - one that you could imagine seeing on an advertisement. From start to finish Jay was extremely responsive. His home is stunning and provided the perfect setting for our group’s Labor Day Weekend. The kitchen, amenities, and bedrooms are all well kept. The pool, neighborhood, and beach were all phenomenal. We could not recommend Jay’s place enough - and hope to be back again soon!
Alex and Jay made our trip so special and every moment felt like “home.” The house and amenities were top notch. The bay views were accessible from the balcony and the walk to the private beach was steps away. The house is tucked away where our kids (5YO, 3YO) to safely ride their bikes and scooters, lots of roads to walk and run, and close enough for an Uber or quick car trip to Greenport Village. The thoughtfulness that went into our stay was unforgettable with access to the owners at any time. They shared kayaks (2), beach wagon (which, got a lot of love from beach goers due to its double decker feature), supplies like beach towels, reusable dishes and napkins, containers to bring food to the beach, etc. The pool, property, and home were spotless and were modern in design. This has been our best experience to date with an Airbnb rental and we hope to stay here again in the very near future.
Jay and Ally’s home was stunning. It looks even better than the pictures and makes a great space for a couple or a group. Everything is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The backyard in particular is an amazing space to relax - clean and beautiful pool with lots of seating. The neighborhood is quiet, steps from a quiet private beach, and less than a 10 minute drive to all of the restaurants in Greenport and Southold. Jay and Ally were wonderful hosts. They were very quick to respond to any questions and had very helpful recommendations for local spots to check out. We can’t wait to return!

You can rent a car and drive directly to the North Fork, giving you the flexibility to navigate the area at your own pace. Alternatively, you can take the Hampton Jitney, a comfortable bus service that operates from various locations in the Hamptons and Manhattan, or the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), which provides train service to Greenport. Once in Greenport, renting a car or bicycle is recommended to easily explore the North Fork's attractions, including wineries, farm stands, charming villages like Mattituck and Southold, as well as coastal areas with beautiful beaches and stunning waterfront views.
