Karen’s place was exactly what we were looking for. Set back on a dead end road next to a beautiful brook and a road that extends along it for peaceful walks. It’s also a quick drive to Woodstock or Lincoln if you’re looking for restaurants or activities. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the coziness of the pellet stove and extra blankets. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to ring in the new year!

We loved the cabin! The cabin is exactly as pictured and was a perfect spot for our toddler and dog. The brook along the road makes for a beautiful walk right on the road that the house is on. There were even some dog treats

I had been looking for a remote cabin away from the highway. My trip was a bit last minute and this was the best I found. I booked it, but was still a bit skeptical because I saw online that it was pretty close to neighbors and pretty close to the road. Turns out the house is near the end of a dirt road and there are hardly any cars that go past. You could sit out there for two hours and have just one person go by. While other houses are pretty close, it was quiet--most of the time the only sounds are the brook and the wind in the trees. I would stay there again.
