Dhouha e'stata disponibile e reattiva. la stanza si trova in un complesso antico nel cuore della Medina, a pochi passi dalla moschea principale. Consiglio di incontrarsi davanti alla moschea perché, se non avessi avuto una guida, mi sarei sicuramente persa. la stanza e'ampia con alti soffitti, con aria condizionata. all'interno di un palazzo con altre stanze in affitto, la colazione e'offerta sulla terrazza ad ha una bellissima vista. bisogna avere molta confidenza con le persone con cui si condividerà la stanza poiché il bagno non ha una vera e propria finestra ma un'apertura che da sul corridoio interno alla stanza stessa, il che toglie sicuramente privacy e rende l'ambiente un po' umido poiché non c'è un ricambio d'aria, le finestre della stanza si affacciano all'interno dello stretto cortile interno . Il palazzo e' antico e questa struttura era stata ovviamente progettata per fare entrare meno calore possibile. Nel complesso una buona soluzione

Had I know what my stay would have been like here I would have booked something else. I could have gotten much better value for my money if details about this place been accurately disclosed to me. 1. There were small pipes coming out the walls in various rooms. 2. There were holes in the wall which should have been spackled and painted over. 3. The kitchen was not reasonably cleaned before I arrived. I was given a clean cooking pot to use after I requested it, but I still had to do additional cleaning to the burners and the counter top because they were not adequately cleaned. The fridge was very dirty too. 4. I found things on the floor which lead me to believe that it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. 5. Listing included that there was a TV and there was not one. 6. The description included internet. However, the internet was so slow that it does not count. It was taking me 20-30 minutes to load webpages while I was trying to submit graduate school materials for my applications. This slow internet was because the owners were trying to use 1 router to supply internet to an entire apartment building, which is negligent. Each unit or each floor need their own router to provide adequate internet. The owners were cutting corners and the quality of this AirBnB suffered greatly because of this. 7. The listing included hot water, but the water did not get hotter than lukewarm 8. The listing included shampoo, which was not supplied. 9. The "kitchen' is really just cheap gas burners that burns everything instantly, even when put lower than the lowest setting, and a sink. There was no oven, microwave, toaster, blender, or any other standard kitchen appliance available. This made my stay here more difficult because I have strict food restrictions and I have to cook my food when I travel. 10. Only a street name without a house number was given to me through AirBnB. This location has a house number and it should have been given to me so that I didn't have to guess where on the street this building is. Real addresses MUST be given to clients paying to stay here. 11. This place is DEEP in the Medina. For those who are not familiar with the Tunis Medina, it's not possible to drive up to this hotel, or near this hotel. You have to get to some entry point to a walled of quarter of the city (the Medina) and walk through a maze of poorly labeled streets trying to find this small hotel that no one has heard of. At night the Medina is basically empty and many streets are closed off. This puts clients in a dangerously vulnerable position when trying to find this place at night. The host should provide all guests with maps to help them get to and from Medina entry points and the hotel, or have someone who brings people back and forth.

Accueil en personne, amené sur les lieux, contact bon... ah coeur de la medina dans un envirronement tranquille, avec une belle tertasse collective, mais au prix demandé, pas d elements de base, pas de frigo... possible au demeurant mais pourquoi avoir a demander!

J’ai passé un très bon moment dans votre charmant appartement avec cette si belle décoration tunisoise. Merci encore, je reviendrais c’est sur ! Bonne localisation à 2’ du souk. Dhouha's old city apartment was a very nice place to stay. It is located in the middle of the medina and everything is in walking distance. The communication was excellent from the beginning and Dhouha was committed to answer as quickly as possible. The ckeckin as well as the checkout were executed flawlessly and we had no issues during our stay. Compared to modern apartments this one might be quite dark as it is built in an traditional Tunisian way. Thus, you do not really enjoy a lot of daylight. Furthermore, the bathroom is outdated. But should you be generally interestested in staying in an Tunisian medina house then Dhouha's accommodation would be a very nice experience.
