Cocagne · 整套乡村小屋 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Cheerful 2 bedroom cottage with indoor fireplace.
This unique place has a style all of its own. Filled with original art, sculptures, and modern furnishings, this seaside home is a place of tranquil and peaceful energy. Sunrises and sunsets that recharge the soul. 20 feet from the shore's edge, it’s a wonderful place to kayak, gather quahogs and clams in the shallows in front of the cottage; and then, steam a captain's seafood feast. Lobster, crab, corn on the cob, and BBQ steaks as sun sets. Truly delightful. This is home, but better...
very good host and very flexible ,theres was no one at the house the day i got in so i was able to have an earlier check in and that was very convenient . great place ,calm as well , 2 minutes from the highway exit easy to find i recommande that place for sure everything you need is in there 👌👍
A beautiful spotless cottage filled with artistic charm and all the comforts of home. Spacious and updated master suite with a gorgeous walk in shower. Unbeatable views of the ocean and unforgettable sunrise for the early riser. Mark was highly responsive and welcoming, we hope to be back soon!
Home away from home with breathtaking views!! I stayed at Mark's beautiful home for a week, visiting my family. Mark was an excellent communicator and was also good at making sure I was okay as I was there during tropical storm Lee. You can see the beautiful views from pretty much anywhere thru the house. Everything was clean and thought of, and you have everything you need. I didn't want to leave!! If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful home with amazing views, look no further.
I chose Mark's cottage as it was equidistant between my two families and it turned out to be on the same road as the house my father was born in! The cottage was spotless and overlooked the Cocagne River so the sunrises were spectacular! There was a beautiful deck off the kitchen and another deck off the 2nd floor master bedroom, so it was great to relax both in the morning and evenings . There were kayaks available but I didn't have time to use these. The second floor bedroom had a beautiful glass shower with a rainfall shower head. It was very quiet and peaceful to come home to. There's a general store just down the street complete with beer and wine, and the cottage was minutes away from routes 134 and 11 which made it very convenient to get around. It was also 15 minutes away from the best "acadian" poutines and rapée in Bouctouche. The Dune de Bouctouche was less than a half hour away with a spectacular boardwalk and beach. I will definitely book this cottage again next summer!
Welcome to Cocagne!
It's a small, quiet town. Relaxed, laid-back, enjoy the sunrise/sunset kind of place. Many touristy places to explore are a 15-30 minute drive from the house. Shediac, Bouctouche, and some of the best beaches in Canada are only a 15-minute drive away.
The house is located on Acadian Drive, a scenic seaside drive along the Acadian Coast. It's truly beautiful. Inquire with Mark (the host), and he can recommend a perfect day for you.
Shediac (12 min Drive) has fine dining, pubs, cafés, ice cream parlors, a fisherman wharf, and great beaches. Bouctouche (12 min drive) is a lovely Acadian town. The 7 km sand dunes and lighthouse are spectacular and must-see. Or travel back in time and explore the "Pays de la Sagouine," the region's gem tourist destination sharing the Acadian story and culture (Pro-tip: Their weekend brunch is awesome...).
And, of course, Moncton/Dieppe (20 min drive) is a more significant city center with an airport, and it’s Atlantic Canada's regional shopping district.
The town of Cocagne has basic conveniences only a few kilometers from the house.
