A great spot right across from public beach access. Hwy is not loud or disruptive at night. Huge deck and lots of living space. Well equipped kitchen. Danica checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed.

We stayed at Danica’s place in Bowser over the American Thanksgiving long weekend. The suite had all the supplies we needed for a complete dinner (we did bring our own thermometer and baster). Everything was neat and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The space was quiet and homey. The location, with easy access to the beach and hiking trails, was ideal. Danica was a great host. We would love to stay there in the summer to take advantage of what the area has to offer.

It was a perfect location for us, close to family who we were visiting. Super comfortable bed, kitchen had everything we needed. It's a short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise, to a liquor store across the street, and to a small grocery store & local artisans shop. A short drive to Qualicum Beach, and walking trails in the area. Danica was very attentive to our needs.

The apartment was lovely- new, stylish and immaculately clean. Loved the big deck, unfortunately it wasn’t warm enough for us to use. Host is very good at communication. Just a heads up that there is no TV or music. For some people that will be fine but we would have enjoyed entertainment after a day of sightseeing. It’s noted in the amenities write up but I didn’t notice. Also no closet rods to hang up clothes. No window coverings on big windows for kitchen/dining/living area which faces highway. We found this a little disconcerting when it’s dark outside. We arrived in the dark from Comox airport. We couldn’t see the address sign from that direction- just something to be aware of. Location was fine, 20 minute drive to restaurants. Lots of things to see and do.
